【UESHIMA MUSEUM】現展示で最後のAirbnb特別体験ツアー。英語回・日本語回をそれぞれ開催。
UESHIMA MUSEUM（https://ueshima-museum.com）は、Art BaselおよびAirbnbとの連携のもと、特別鑑賞ツアーの第３回を７月３日（金）と７月１０日（金）に開催いたします。
今回は、これまで日本語・英語をあわせてご案内していた形式から、英語回と日本語回を分けた形で開催いたします。各言語でより深く、ゆったりと展示をご体験いただける内容となっております。
本ツアーでは、当館の現展示キュレーターであり、国際的にも著名な長谷川祐子氏をお迎えし、展示中の現代アート作品やキュレーションの狙いについてお話しいただきます。 閉館後の静かな空間で、少人数限定の特別なアート体験をお楽しみいただけます。
初回および第２回開催時には多くの方にご参加いただき、会場では活発な対話が交わされ、大変ご好評をいただきました。現代美術や展示制作に関心のある方、美術館という場のあり方に興味をお持ちの方におすすめの機会です。
なお、本ツアーは、２０２６年７月３１日（金）に終了予定の現展示における最後の特別体験ツアーとなる予定です。展示替え前に、現展示を長谷川祐子氏の解説とともにご覧いただける貴重な機会です。

UESHIMA MUSEUM will host the third session of its special guided tour in collaboration with Art Basel and Airbnb on Friday, July 3 and Friday, July 10, 2026.
This time, instead of offering guidance in both Japanese and English together, the tour will be held separately in English and Japanese. The program is designed to allow participants to experience the exhibition more deeply and at a relaxed pace in their preferred language.
For this tour, we are pleased to welcome Yuko Hasegawa, the curator of the museum’s current exhibition and an internationally renowned curator. This small-group tour takes place after regular opening hours, offering participants a quiet and intimate environment in which to experience the exhibition.
At the first and second sessions, many participants joined the tour, and lively discussions unfolded throughout the program, receiving very positive feedback.This program is recommended for those with an interest in contemporary art, exhibition-making, and the role of museums.
This tour is expected to be the final special experience tour for the current exhibition, which is scheduled to close on Friday, July 31, 2026. Before the exhibition changes, this is a valuable opportunity to view the current exhibition with commentary by Yuko Hasegawa.

UESHIMA MUSEUMは、UESHIMA MUSEUM COLLECTIONのオーナーである植島幹九郎の母校でもあり、「自調自考」を基本目標に国際的な視野や高い倫理観を重視した教育を行う事で高い評価を受けている、渋谷教育学園の敷地内に位置します。また、当美術館の建物は、1988年に設立され、翌年9月に当時の英国首相であった故マーガレット・サッチャー氏同席のもと開校式の行われたブリティッシュ・スクール・イン・東京が2023年8月まで利用していた建物をリノベーションの上、開館致しました。

**About UESHIMA MUSEUM**
UESHIMA MUSEUM is located on the grounds of Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen, the alma mater of UESHIMA COLLECTION owner Kankuro Ueshima. It is highly regarded for its emphasis on international perspective and high ethical standards in education under the fundamental goal of "Seek and Think for Oneself." (“Jicho-Jiko”) The museum’s building, named “Ueshima Tower, Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen”, was renovated from the former British School in Tokyo, which was established in 1988 and held its opening ceremony in September of the following year in the presence of the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The British School in Tokyo was utilized until August 2023 and was reopened after renovation.

UESHIMA MUSEUM COLLECTION創設者。1979年千葉県生まれ。1998年渋谷教育学園幕張高等学校卒業、東京大学理科一類入学。東京大学工学部在学中に株式会社ドリームキャリアを起業し、現在では事業家・投資家として多角的にビジネスを展開する傍ら、国内外のオークションハウスやギャラリーを渉猟。国内外一流作家から国内若手作家に至るまで幅広く、現代アート作品のコレクションを続けています。2024年、US版Artnews Top 200 collectors(その年に最もアクティブだった世界のスーパー・アートコレクター200人を紹介する特集)に選出されました。

Founder of "UESHIMA MUSEUM COLLECTION", born in Chiba prefecture, Japan in 1979. Ueshima graduated from Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen Makuhari Senior High School in 1998, then enrolled in the Natural Sciences I at the University of Tokyo. While attending the Faculty of Engineering, he started his own business and has since developed a diversified business as an entrepreneur and investor.

Visiting Professor, Graduate School of Business Administration, Kyoto University / Program Director, Department of Art and Design, International House of Japan / Former Director, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (April 2021 - March 2025) / Professor Emeritus, Tokyo University of the Arts / Visiting Professor, Institute for Integrated Global Environmental Studies
She has served as a curator at Art Tower Mito (1989-93), visiting curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art (1992-93), curator at the Setagaya Art Museum (1993-99) and Artistic Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo(2016-March 2021). She is also Artistic Director of the Inujima Art House Project(2011- present). She completed a BA in Law at Kyoto University, and an MFA in Art History at Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. She has been honored with the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, France (2015), the Ordem de Rio Branco, Brazil (2017), and Japan Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan (2020).
