台湾の新世代アーティストが福岡に集結、「KINGAF 2026」注目アーティストを紹介
2026年10月2日（金）から10月5日（月）まで、福岡・天神のONE FUKUOKA BLDG.にて「第1回 九州国際新世代アートフェア KINGAF 2026」が開催されます。
「新たな領域 HORIZON ― 芸術を通して、新たな視点と未来をひらく。」をテーマに、台湾の新世代アーティスト24名が参加。絵画、水墨、ミクストメディア、イラストレーションなど、多様な表現を展開するアーティストが参加します。
本展では、参加アーティストのうち林葳（Ivy）、黃于珊、Jeffrey、Maggie、蔡蜜子（Mitsuko）の5名が会期中に福岡を訪れ、会場で来場者との交流を予定しています。

台湾の新世代アーティスト24名が福岡に集結、第1回「九州国際新世代アートフェア KINGAF 2026」開催
会期中に福岡を訪れる5名のアーティスト
林葳（Ivy）
東京と台北を拠点に活動する林葳は、日本で長く暮らした経験を持ち、東京を第二の故郷として制作を続けています。中国画、日本画、洋画を学び、現在は日本画・膠彩を中心に、花や人物、自然の変化を描いています。天然鉱物顔料、絹、和紙、金箔などを用いた作品を制作し、国立新美術館や東京都美術館などで作品を発表しています。
黃于珊
黃于珊は、社会、人、環境の相互作用を題材に、既存の表現方法を解体しながら制作を行う現代美術作家です。国立台北芸術大学美術学系修士課程を修了し、2013年には「見る。見ない。」シリーズで台湾文化部のMIT新人賞を受賞、「不自然」シリーズが台北美術賞に選出されました。近年は平面絵画を中心に制作しており、最新作《鰯》では、同じ方向へ進むイワシの群れを、情報や社会の流れに無意識に追随する現代人になぞらえ、現代社会における人々の行動や意識を表現しています。
Jeffrey
Jeffreyは、イラストレーション、油彩、ミクストメディアを組み合わせ、幻想的な物語や神話、ポップカルチャーを取り入れた作品を制作しています。代表的な「PiXiu」シリーズでは、東アジアで古くから知られる瑞獣「貔貅」をモチーフに、独自のキャラクター表現へと展開しています。
Maggie
Maggieは、海、森林、大地、生命の循環など、自然と生命に関わるテーマをもとに制作しています。油彩やアクリル、アクリルフルイドアートを用い、絵具の流動性や偶然から生まれる模様を取り入れながら、具象と抽象の間にある自然の姿を表現しています。
蔡蜜子（Mitsuko）
蔡蜜子は、東京と福岡を拠点に活動するアーティストです。イラストレーションや絵本を学び、日常の中にある小さな感覚や夢を題材に、油彩やクレヨンなどを用いて作品を制作しています。
日本での活動経験を持つ注目作家
5名の来場アーティストに加え、今回のKINGAFには、日本での展示・活動経験を持つ作家や、それぞれ独自の表現を追求するアーティストも参加します。
李政勳（リー・チェンシュン）は、人と人との関係、記憶、日常の中の微細な出来事を、精緻な線によって描く台北拠点のアーティストです。金沢21世紀美術館での展覧会参加、3331 Arts Chiyodaでのアーティスト・イン・レジデンス、ART OSAKAへの参加など、日本での活動経験を持ちます。
劉信義（リウ・シンイー）は、台湾の伝統的な水墨表現を基盤に、光と陰影、山や森林などの風景を描くアーティストです。現代的な視点から水墨表現を追求し、2023年には国立新美術館で開催された「NANA Japan Joint Exhibition」に参加しています。
黃紀縈（コウ・キエイ／SAKI）は、金銀箔、アクリル、ミクストメディアなどを用い、自然を題材とした「Contemporary Rinpa」を展開しています。琳派の装飾性を取り入れながら、光の当たり方や見る角度によって表情を変える金属箔を用いた表現を特徴としています。2026年には銀座での二人展も開催しています。
そのほかの注目参加アーティスト
龎銚（Yolanda Pong）は、絵画、ミクストメディア、ソフトスカルプチャーなどを用い、空間、素材、光、影の関係性を探求しています。黒、白、グレー、メタリックカラーを基調とした作品を制作し、素材の組み合わせによる独自の空間表現を展開しています。
李吉祥（リー・チーシャン）は、日常の風景を題材に、写真やレンズを通して見る感覚を絵画へと置き換えています。窓や模様ガラス、網戸越しに見える光と影、ぼやけたシルエットなどを描き、ピントの合った部分とぼやけた部分を共存させた表現を特徴としています。
蔡宜儒（ツァイ・イージュ）は、東洋の水墨表現と西洋的な技法を組み合わせ、サブカルチャーやポップカルチャーを取り入れた作品を制作しています。「マジンガーZ」と3C・絵文字など、異なる世代の視覚文化を組み合わせた表現も特徴の一つです。
このほか、旅先での風景や人物、そこから生まれた感情をもとに、時間とともに変化する旅の記憶を表現する陶綱、自然の光や水面、夕暮れの風景から着想を得て抽象表現を追求する江東諭など、多様な背景と表現を持つ作家が参加します。江東諭は、2026年に制作した新作3点を本展で発表します。

24 Emerging Taiwanese Artists Gather in Fukuoka: Meet the Featured Artists of “KINGAF 2026
24 emerging Taiwanese artists will participate, with five artists visiting Fukuoka during the fair to meet and interact with visitors
From Friday, October 2 to Monday, October 5, 2026, the inaugural Kyushu International New Generation Art Fair KINGAF 2026 will be held at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in Tenjin, Fukuoka.
Under the theme “HORIZON - Opening New Perspectives and Futures Through Art,” the fair brings together 24 emerging Taiwanese artists working across a diverse range of media and approaches, including painting, ink art, mixed media, and illustration.
During the fair, five participating artists - Ivy Lin, Huang Yu-Shan, Jeffrey, Maggie, and Mitsuko Tsai - will visit Fukuoka and interact directly with visitors at the venue.

Five Artists Visiting Fukuoka During the Fair
Ivy Lin
Based between Tokyo and Taipei, Ivy Lin focuses on Japanese painting and gofun techniques, creating works inspired by flowers, people, and nature. She uses natural mineral pigments, silk, Japanese paper, and gold leaf, and has exhibited at major museums in Japan.
Huang Yu-Shan
Huang Yu-Shan explores the relationships between society, people, and the environment through contemporary art. Her recent work Sardines uses a school of fish as a metaphor for people who unconsciously follow the flow of information and society.
Jeffrey
Jeffrey combines illustration, oil painting, and mixed media with mythology, fantasy, and pop culture. His PiXiu series reimagines the East Asian mythical creature as a distinctive character.
Maggie
Maggie creates works inspired by nature and the cycles of life. Using oil, acrylic, and fluid art, she explores the space between figurative and abstract expression.
Mitsuko Tsai
Based between Tokyo and Fukuoka, Mitsuko Tsai creates works inspired by subtle sensations and dreams in everyday life, using materials such as oil paint and crayons.
Featured Artists with Experience in Japan
In addition to the five artists visiting Fukuoka, KINGAF also features artists who have exhibited or worked in Japan, as well as artists pursuing their own distinctive forms of expression.
Li Cheng-Hsun is a Taipei-based artist who uses delicate lines to depict human relationships, memories, and everyday moments. His experience in Japan includes exhibitions, an artist residency, and participation in ART OSAKA.
Liu Hsin-Yi builds on traditional Taiwanese ink painting to depict landscapes, light, and shadow from a contemporary perspective. He participated in the “NANA Japan Joint Exhibition” at The National Art Center, Tokyo, in 2023.
Huang Chi-Ying (SAKI) combines gold and silver leaf, acrylic, and mixed media to create her own form of “Contemporary Rinpa,” inspired by nature and the decorative qualities of the Rinpa school.
Other Featured Participating Artists
Yolanda Pong explores the relationship between space, materials, light, and shadow through painting, mixed media, and soft sculpture.
Li Chi-Shan transforms everyday scenes viewed through photography and lenses into paintings, combining focused and blurred images with light and shadow.
Tsai Yi-Ju combines Eastern ink painting with Western techniques and incorporates elements of subculture and pop culture, including Mazinger Z and emojis.
Other participating artists include Tao Kang, who explores memories of travel through landscapes and emotions, and Chiang Tung-Yu, who creates abstract works inspired by natural light, water, and twilight. Chiang will present three new works created in 2026.
